Want to Volunteer
Every follower of Christ is gifted by God “for the building up of the body of believers”. That simply means that you have gifts and talents that are uniquely you. You are a “God’s gift” to the church. The Lord wants to bring blessing to the rest of the church family here at GAC through YOU!
Knowing the spiritual gifts that God has given to you is only a part of the service equation. Another is discovering what you are passionate about. What do you love to do? What group do you love to serve? Some people prefer to be a “behind the scenes” while others enjoy teaching large groups. Some feel most at home in the nursery, while others love nothing more than to sit and spend time with an older adult.
When you use your God given gifts in an area that you are passionate about, you will experience the joy of being “God’s gift” to His church.
To get started, talk to people involved in an area of ministry that interests you or visit an area where you may want to get involved.

If you would like to serve in Nursery, Children’s or Youth Ministries you will participate in a “Plan to Protect” training session as part of your equipping. (A portion of this training appears here for your interest.) The next training is sheduled for January 26, 2009.
