One of the things we have come to realize is that although people seem to admire and feel attracted to Jesus, its the church that they are not so crazy about. In many ways the church has become an obstacle rather than a conduit to faith. One of our goals is to address this problem. We are committed to doing all we can do to present the claims of Jesus in a relevant, contemporary and engaging way. We work hard to make GAC a place of welcome. Please feel free to drop in any Sunday. Also take a look around our website. You will discover that we have activites and programs for the entire family. Feel free to download the many sermons posted on our site. There is no cost. No passwords required. No personal information asked for.

Call to Prayer - Thursday nights

As we turn our attention to developing meaninful encounters between the living God and our community it is CRITICAL that we pray.
If this resonates in your heart then you will want to join us at 7:00 pm on the 2nd and 4th Thursday night of each month for a time of intentional intercessory prayer.

Meeting at 10:00 every Sunday morning
From the parking lot to a comfortable spot in our worship area we’ll do our best to welcome you to GAC. There is reserved parking for visitors so be sure to “flash your headlights” on the way in.
All our children and youth workers are required to follow “Plan to Protect” policies. Fifteen minutes prior to the service these workers are eager to welcome young children in Nursery (downstairs): Birth – Preschool
Kidz Worship begins at 10:00 am as the children from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5 enjoy their own worship service in the Kidz worship centre downstairs.
Junior High worship begins at 10:00 am in the Youth Centre.
Adult worship begins at 10:00 am in our upstairs auditorium.Our facility is wheelchair accessible and hearing assistance is available in the auditorium.

We are Looking for a Worship Pastor
Georgetown Alliance Church is asking the Lord to lead a mature leader (male/female) who is musically proficient, with a heart to grow and develop ministry and who will work well in a multi-staff environment. Our worship is a blended style, weighted to the contemporary, to meet the needs of our multi-generational congregation. This is a full time position. Experience is an asset but not a requirement.

Hope For Life Pregnancy Counselling Centre
Pregnancy can be an unexpected surprise.
It’s hard to think clearly when everything seems to be going wrong. It’s easy to make rash decisions which you might later wish you’d never made.
We are here to help women step back and think through their difficult situations, in a safe and non judgemental environment.
Our caring staff is available to offer support, discuss resources, and listen to your needs and concerns. Our counselors understand how difficult an unplanned pregnancy can be and seek to offer you affirmation and encouragement in your decisions. No situation is impossible, and you will be amazed at how good it feels to have a friend and a plan for your future.
