An Overview of Celebrate Recovery
CELEBRATE RECOVERY is a 12-step recovery program for adults who are desperate to be free from their addictions and dysfunctional or destructive behaviour. We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only HIGHER POWER who is able to “restore us to sanity” and “remove all defects of character.” We also believe that God’s road to recovery is outlined in His words to us – the Bible.

Every member of our leadership team has embraced Jesus Christ as his/her Higher Power, and by following the 12 steps has experienced freedom from our hurts, hang-ups, and habits that were at the root of our addictive lifestyles. We endeavor to give participants an opportunity to learn and apply Biblically based recovery steps and principles within an environment that encourages accountability and authentic relationships.

Our leaders are not counselors, but are ordinary people like you. We offer you a safe place to share your hurts and hopes with other fellow travellers on the road to recovery.
When is a Celebrate Recovery meeting?
We meet at the church every Monday (including holidays) at 7:00 pm. All adults are welcome. You don’t need to be familiar with Celebrate Recovery (or church) before attending.
What is the Schedule for a Monday Night Meeting?
7:00 – 8:00 pm Large Group Meeting
We begin the large group meeting by celebrating our relationship with God through music followed by either a teaching on one of the 12 recovery steps or a testimony, and various readings.
8:00 – 9:00 pm Small Group Meetings
In our small groups, under the guidance of a trained facilitator, we provide a safe place for you to share your experiences, strengths, hopes and habits with others who are struggling with similar life experiences. Men meet only with men, and women meet only with women in these small groups. Small group guidelines are followed closely in order to preserve a safe environment for the participants.
FIRST TIME VISITORS – From 8:00 – 9:00 pm, we invite you to attend an orientation time when your questions can be answered.
9:00 pm CR Café
The CR Café provides a relaxed setting to develop and build authentic relationships and enjoy light refreshments.
